Row and Column (which are both numbers) plus Address which is a string. These are illustrated in the code below.
However, you may need to obtain the column letter for a range. A simple way to do this is to split a range Address into an array (using $ as the delimiter) and then reference the array element containing the column letter(s). This is illustrated by the function getColLetterFromRange() in the code which follows.
Alternatively, you may be working with column numbers but wish to convert them into column letters. This can be achieved in much the same way and is illustrated by the function getColLetterFromNumber(). Apart from passing the function a number rather than a range, the only difference is that the range is specified as cell(1,n) of the ActiveSheet.
Hope you find this useful.
